Foundation Building Memory Work

Stepping Stones Cycle 2 - Scripture Memory

Please Note:  This cycle utilizes a progressive memory program for Exodus chapter 20.  Children will build upon their previous work in that chapter.  Eventually they will have all of Exodus 20:1-7 memorized, this includes the entire 10 commandments and the preface.  The bold print from Exodus 20 represents new memory work for that week.

January

Ephesians 6:1-3  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.  "Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise),  "that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land."

Colossians 3:20  Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

Matthew 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Philippians 4:19  And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
