Garry Zuber

I am a reader & a borrower of ideas from others.  God has blessed me with the writings of many thoughtful authors.  Recently  I   experienced a serendipity when I read the book God’s Guest List  by Debbie Macomber.

She introduced me to the idea that God has people He wants me to meet. It is as if God has special people He wants  us to encounter – people we can learn from, laugh with – some we will seek and others we may have avoided at first glance. But God in His wisdom knows that we need many mentors and friends to help us grow and learn and experience life in all its fullness.

As resident of Troy and pastor of the Troy & East Troy Baptist Churches for over 35 years, my family and I have been blessed by getting know many people and make some special friends.  These folks have stretched me, helped to smooth my rough edges, offered me encouragement  and counsel when needed.

Many of these folks can be found participating in the life of the Troy Baptist Church. If you are wondering whether or not God has someone special for you to meet – someone who might enrich your life. Could God be leading you to believe that the best is yet to be?     I invite you to join us for Sunday worship at Troy Baptist on Canton St.

It is the perhaps the easiest way to get started.

                            You are always welcome!!
